I always get anxiety-ridden before trips, and often while on trips. Travel is an uprooting, a break with nearly every aspect of your everyday life.  And that can be highly disconcerting.  It can also be an opportunity to learn new things, to think new thoughts (as I heard some guy on NPR say) and to be renewed physically, spiritually, intellectually. Yep.
